The FMEL exhibits and retraces 60 years of history(ies)

The mission of the Fondation Maisons pour Étudiants Lausanne (FMEL) is to design, build and manage housing for students at the canton's universities. For 60 years, it has put its expertise at the service of its tenants, evolving both in the way it builds living spaces and in relation to recurring housing needs.

Diamond jubilee

The aim of this exhibition is threefold. In addition to celebrating its jubilee, and presenting the real estate assets built up since 1961 in collaboration with the municipal and cantonal authorities, the Foundation wishes to share with visitors the intentions that have motivated it over all these years: to design safe, high-quality living spaces at affordable prices for students.

To find out all you need to know about the FMEL, come and see us in the Forum room at the Hôtel de Ville on Place de la Palud in Lausanne.

From 13 to 30 April 2022 Opening hours : Tuesday to Friday: 10.00-18.00 Saturdays : 9.00-17.00 Closed from 15 to 18 April (Easter)
