Yves Ferrari, born in 1972 in Geneva, has been the Director of FMEL since July 2021. After studying architecture in Geneva, he pursued sociology at UNIL and later earned a Master of Arts in Society, Science, and Technology at EPFL, as well as a Master of Arts in Society, Science, and Technology in Europe. He worked as a scientific collaborator at EPFL before founding a private company specializing in sustainable development consulting. He also taught at the post-secondary level in the canton of Vaud for 14 years.

In 2017, he was appointed part-time director (50%) of the housing cooperative "Le Bled," responsible for developing an 11,000 m² SPd building in Plaines-du-Loup. This project includes 77 apartments, various activities, and several shared spaces. By involving future residents and promoting shared spaces, the project seeks to encourage a new way of living based on sharing and mutual respect.

After serving on the board of the Lausanne Housing Foundation, he joined the board of directors of COLOSA. He is currently Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Lausanne Real Estate Company for Housing SA (SILL SA) and the Vaud Housing Company SA (SVL SA). He is also a board member of the Bois-Gentil Foundation and the President of the Building Commission.

Housing thousands of students, FMEL has been a key partner of universities (UNIL, EPFL, HEP, etc.) for 60 years, playing an essential role in the development of the canton of Vaud. Letitia Cassinadri, born in 1982 in Lausanne, has been serving as Director of Administration and Finance at FMEL since March 2022. After earning a degree in Business Administration from HEIG-VD, she worked for five years as a financial auditor, during which she obtained her Swiss Certified Public Accountant diploma.

She then held the position of Financial Controller for over nine years in an international organization operating in the luxury sector. During this time, she contributed to various IT projects and earned a PMP certification (Project Management Institute) in project management.

Driven by a desire to align her career with her values—focused on people—and to work within a local, human-scale organization, she enthusiastically took on her role at FMEL.

Eric Grande, born in 1972 in Lyon, France, holds an engineering degree in mechanics and a Master’s degree in Industrial Systems Engineering with distinction. After managing major projects in the industrial sector (CERN, Rolex, Novartis) for about a decade, he decided in 2009 to shift his career toward real estate operations management, holding leadership positions at organizations such as Baechler Teinturiers, the Vaud Federation of Entrepreneurs, and the École Hôtelière de Lausanne.

When Eric Grande joined FMEL in 2019 to develop the operational concept for the Vortex building, he was naturally drawn to the extraordinary features and iconic nature of this project. In 2020, he became a member of FMEL’s executive committee, bringing with him his passion for process harmonization and his extensive operational experience in managing a real estate portfolio.

Stéphanie Letouzé, born in 1981 in Bayeux, France, has been serving as Director of the Housing & Reception Department at FMEL since January 2025. With a degree in Public Relations and Press Relations, she quickly and, by a fortunate twist of fate, redirected her career toward the hospitality sector. For ten years, she worked in five-star establishments, holding various positions ranging from receptionist to assistant reservations manager.

She then took on the management of the student campus at the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, initially comprising 485 beds and later expanded to 1,060 beds. This role allowed her to develop extensive expertise in housing and related services while also overseeing cleaning operations as Housing & Cleaning Services Manager.

At FMEL, she brings her expertise to a human-scale organization, aiming to tackle new challenges in close collaboration with the teams.
