Operation "Santa's sleigh"

Imagine a Christmas away from your family, immersed in another culture in the middle of a pandemic... Faced with this difficult situation, the FMEL management set up the "Santa's sleigh" operation to bring comfort to its students. The concept was to offer a gift basket on 24 December, complete with a bottle of champagne, flutes, risotto, Panettone, chocolate in the shape of Father Christmas, not forgetting the local apple juice. It was a fun way to combat the psychological distress and isolation of students. The event was made possible thanks to the invaluable financial support of Retraites Populaires, MIGROS Vaud and a generous partner who preferred to remain anonymous. As a result, Santa's merry sleigh was able to make its rounds and distribute 500 baskets in the fourteen FMEL homes. It was an opportunity to share some good times with the students during the festive season.
